Overbends in the Blues Lesson Series

With the help of the great blues harmonica educator (and my childhood teacher/mentor) David Barrett, I designed a thorough, eight-part lesson series on incorporating overbends into traditional blues harmonica playing. First coming to widespread public awareness in the 1980s through the innovative work of Howard Levy, overbends have slowly been making their way into more traditional contexts. In this series you'll learn to develop mastery of this technique as well as how to incorporate it into your blues harmonica style in a detailed, organized and easily approachable format. In addition to my lesson series, with a subscription to BluesHarmonica.com you'll have access to over 3,000 lesson videos, lesson plans and interviews with top professionals. I can't recommend it highly enough! Find out more here.
